Compuware Demonstrates Model-Driven Development, Automated Testing and Application Management Solutions at Ninth Annual BEA Event

SAN FRANCISCO--May 25, 2004--BEA eWorld Conference 2004--Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced it will highlight its strategy to help organizations make IT more efficient and responsive to business needs through the adoption of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) by showcasing its portfolio of solutions for the entire application life cycle. Compuware is exhibiting in booth #217 at the BEA eWorld conference in San Francisco’s Moscone Center this week.

Additionally, as a long-time BEA partner, Compuware will outline its plans to support BEA’s newly unveiled Project Beehive and announce the completion of the second phase of integration between Compuware OptimalJ, its model-driven, pattern-based enterprise development environment and BEA WebLogic Workshop. Compuware OptimalJ is one of the few tools that has the flexibility to change the Java/J2EE artifacts that it generates. The pattern authoring capabilities within OptimalJ permit the implementation of BEA specific artifacts, like Java controls.
