[Zip, 20MB] Uniface Flow - Demonstration
[Zip, 20MB] Uniface Webcast - Modernization Series In this first session of a four-part webcast series on modernization, Aad van Schetsen, Compuware Global Sales Director and Yuan Sun, Field Technical Support, provide an overview and demonstration for migrating an older Uniface form to a new Uniface infrastructure. Uniface Webcast - Assignment Files Assignment files are at the heart of Uniface. Although each setting is simple, the sheer number of possible combinations and options can prove to be daunting in maximizing the benefits of Uniface. Focusing on simple key concepts, we hope to demystify this powerful feature of Uniface. Key topics covered include:
Uniface Webcast - Data Validation Uniface has many features to help you keep a single code line while providing enough flexibility to accommodate special customer requests. Key topics covered include:
Uniface Webcast - Enhanced Uniface Application Deployment Uniface provides centralized, high-level functionality for assembling your application objects (both Uniface and non-Uniface), and building "deployment archives" for your runtime environments. Key topics covered include:
Uniface Webcast - Flexible process flows Key Topics covered include:
Uniface Webcast - Web Page Pagination Within the stateless environment of the web, the traditionally used Uniface stepped hitlist is not available. If alternate procedures are not put in place, this can cause all qualifying records to be presented, which is undesirable. Although conceived for the web, the practice can be used in traditional Windows-based systems to reduce memory usage with the stepped hitlist. The technique uses manipulation of the database retrieval profile to both limit and position the data rows returned to Uniface in discrete pages. This achieves a similar effect to the stepped hitlist but without the additional memory overhead. As each database has its own specific and non-standard ways of achieving this, these differences will also be explored. Key topics covered include:
