Uniface WebApplication Server Architecture
At the front end, the architecture features a browser interface and shows how data is processed as it travels to and from the back-end data source through the UNIFACE Request Dispatcher and UNIFACE Application Server. UNIFACE WebApplication Server uses HTML, enriched with JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets, as the presentation interface, whose low bandwidth requirement delivers rapid download times. UNIFACE WebApplication Server includes native support for all major browser and web server technologies, such as ISAPI, NSAPI and CGI. UNIFACE Request Dispatcher resides on the web server, marshaling requests between the browser and TP monitors such as BEA TUXEDO. In contrast to other application servers, UNIFACE Application Server is available on a wide range of platforms. Through the UNIFACE Universal Request Broker Architecture, applications can be deployed independently of technology and component implementation across multi-tier environments. |
