This is a no-charge service offered by Compuware.

The Strobe Usage Collector collects summary information including numbers of users, measurement sessions, distinct jobs measured, elapsed hours of measurement and CPU usage minutes measured. Counts of usage of each Strobe option, and the total number of completed measurements are tabulated. AutoStrobe initiated measurements including I/O threshold, CPU threshold, and elapsed threshold are also collected.

Value Analysis

Analysis based on the collected data is used for computing potential productivity as well as a summary of actual usage. These metrics, provided via graphs, charts and spreadsheets take the guesswork out of determining productivity and resource utilization savings.
