Third Party Integration

Compuware Changepoint provides integration options to its leading solution that allow organizations to leverage investments in existing applications and completely automate their entire enterprise for greater efficiency, cost control and overall business performance.

In addition to third-party tools, Changepoint provides a number of options and tools for integrating with other applications. COM, Web Services, an integrated Export Wizard, and pre-built imports are all available directly from Changepoint. Changepoint also provides customers with a data dictionary, and support third-party and platform-native tools. Compuware has successfully completed integrations to a wide variety of solutions such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP and Microsoft Great Plains. Changepoint integration options include:

Packaged Integration Toolkits:

Packaged Integration Toolkits offer customers an out-of-the-box utility providing integration between Changepoint and other popular finance solutions. Currently, Toolkits are available for integration to Microsoft Great Plains.

File Transfers:

File Transfer is an easy-to-configure integration method that uses Changepoint's flexible import-export capability to export pre-defined ASCII text files for import by other packages.

Compuware Changepoint COM API:

The Changepoint API (Application Program Interface) uses a COM interface to integrate the solution with a variety of enterprise-level packages. Utilizing exposed functions, API is an add-on toolkit to the Changepoint solution, which can be used by a programmer to create controls that incorporate with virtually any system on the market today, including leading financial, CRM, ERP and HR solutions, to name a few.

Compuware Changepoint Web Services:

The Web Service interface for the Changepoint COM API, built using the Microsoft .Net Framework offers a less complex and less costly alternative for integrating Changepoint with other applications. This integration option allows the COM API interface to be implemented as a web method to provide enhanced integration capabilities.

Changepoint has been successfully integrated to a wide variety of third-party systems including most major financial packages.
