Compuware Collaborates With HP on New Test Factory

Factory Designed to Enable IT Organizations to Improve Enterprise Application Reliability and Performance

DETROIT--June 8, 2006--Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced a relationship with HP to establish and staff an HP Test Factory. The facility will initially provide independent verification and validation support for a large HP application development engagement. In the future, HP plans to expand the use of the Test Factory to provide full testing services for various client engagements.

The HP Test Factory will utilize the Compuware Application Reliability Solution (CARS) to provide standard independent verification and validation testing support. CARS combines a patented methodology with innovative enterprise-wide technologies and certified quality assurance expertise to instill a consistent discipline across development, quality assurance and operations. This support is critical to large-scale development projects that must deliver superior quality, reliability and performance. Working closely with the HP project teams, Compuware QA experts will provide test support, coordination and execution services during the design, build and deploy phases of HP’s client engagements.
