Industry Experts to Present Best Practices for Managing a Dynamic IT Organization

DETROIT -- October 16, 2006 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced a global, executive briefing series on IT portfolio and demand management titled, "Strategic Moves: Execute an IT Game Plan That Yields Results." The free half-day briefings, featuring industry analyst Craig Symons from Forrester Research, begin October 25 in Washington, D.C. and will examine the challenge of maximizing the value of IT investments.

IT executives face tremendous challenges in delivering return on their investment in new projects and existing infrastructure while properly aligning resources to deliver the greatest business value. Symons will address these challenges and will provide examples of how to effectively manage the demands placed on IT. He will also provide concrete strategies for aligning IT resources with company business strategies. In addition, leading IT strategists and Compuware partners PMG and Wipro will present best practices for IT portfolio and demand management. The briefing will conclude with a panel discussion and Q&A with briefing attendees.
