Compuware and Quebec Provincial Government Partner to Invest in Montreal Facility

Compuware Canada Operations Experience Tremendous Growth; Government of Quebec to Contribute $5.2 M for Employee Training in Montreal

MONTREAL--November 14, 2005--Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) announced today that its Montreal-based operations--including the company’s NearShore Development Center--have received a $5 million, three-year grant from the Government of Quebec for the company’s training program for technology employees. The joint training project will support the expected growth of the Compuware Montreal facility, including the addition of a substantial number of new employees in the next three years. Compuware and its Montreal facility offer a powerful set of integrated products and services for enterprise IT, including IT governance, application development, quality assurance, application service management and the company’s NearShore Development Center.

The Compuware NearShore Development Center provides organizations with the talent and expertise to develop and test enterprise applications across a wide range of industries and technologies. In addition to application development, the NearShore Development Center provides application quality assurance capability via the Compuware Application Reliability Solution (CARS), which combines Compuware’s people, products and processes to ensure the reliability and production readiness of enterprise applications. To meet growing customer demand, Compuware plans on filling 150 openings in the first year of the grant with individuals who have excellent technical skills in areas such as development, quality assurance and database administration.
