2005 Michigan Women’s Leadership Index Names Compuware Most Valuable Player
Compuware Achieves Second-highest Index Score Among Top 100 Publicly Held Michigan CompaniesDETROIT--October 24, 2005--The 2005 Michigan Women’s Leadership Index (WLI) today named Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) a Most Valuable Player, honoring the company’s percentage of female officers and directors. Compuware reached an index score of 20, the second highest among all companies examined. The WLI also named Compuware an MVP in 2003, the last year the index was published. The Michigan Women’s Leadership Index measures the number of women executives in the highest leadership positions of the top 100 publicly held companies headquartered in Michigan. The first WLI study was published in 2003. The 2005 report was commissioned by Inforum Center for Leadership and conducted by Michigan State University’s Institute for Public Policy and Social Research. Compuware Corporation tied for the second highest index score overall.
