Midwest’s Premier Application Development Event Grows, Now Includes Both Microsoft .NET and Java Technologies

DETROIT--August 29, 2005--Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced that, due to the success of last year’s OJX conference, it has expanded OJ.X ("OJ dot X") to include both Microsoft .NET and Java application development technologies. The second annual event will be held on October 6, 2005, at Compuware’s corporate headquarters in downtown Detroit.

OJ.X will immerse application development professionals and managers in the power of advanced software development techniques, offering the opportunity to learn valuable skills and strategies to drive high development productivity, ROI and quality--regardless of the underlying technology. Expanded from last year’s OJX event, OJ.X will feature major presentations from Microsoft and Eclipse, both also OJ.X sponsors. Additionally, senior technology analysts to be featured at OJ.X include Gartner’s Theresa Lanowitz and Forrester’s Carl Zetie, who highlight the management track.
