Top IT Executives Gather to Discuss Application Quality Challenges

DETROIT--May 24, 2005--Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced the kick off of a worldwide application quality roundtable series, beginning June 1, 2005 in New York City. The roundtable theme, titled "The Four Courses of Quality," will focus on the application quality challenges IT organizations face today and will introduce Compuware's Application Quality Maturity Model, which has four phases: Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Management and Quality GovernanceTM.

This invitation-only roundtable series will give IT executives the opportunity to discuss the challenges they face in delivering quality applications to the business and to hear how other leading organizations have implemented successful application quality assurance practices. The discussion will focus on key business issues such as compliance, security, outsourcing and service improvement and aims to reveal application quality best practices and share lessons learned among attendees.

Roundtables are currently scheduled for New York (June 1); Los Angeles (June 7); Dallas (June 9); Detroit (June 14); Chicago (June 15) and Washington, D.C. (June 16). Roundtables will also be held in Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Dates and cities for those countries will be announced at a later time.
