Siemens Power Generation Signs Changepoint to Automate its Global IT Support Team
Changepoint's PSA Software To Enable Integration And Automation Of IT Business ProcessesTORONTO-- April 3, 2003--Changepoint Corporation, a leading provider of Web-based business process automation solutions for services organizations, today announced that Siemens Power Generation has selected Changepoint to manage and automate business processes within its IT function. The deployment, which is scheduled for completion by July of this year, will initially see half of Siemens Power Generation's 1000-strong IT support team using Changepoint's Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution, Changepoint 8.0. The move to implement a PSA solution at Siemens Power Generation was fuelled by the need to streamline business and IT processes following the acquisition of the US power company, Westinghouse in 1998.
