Ariba Selects Changepoint PSA to Streamline Global Services Operation

PSA software to provide real-time views into operations for improved decision-making and operational control

TORONTO--June 23, 2003--Changepoint Corporation, a leading provider of Web-based professional services automation (PSA) software, today announced that Ariba, Inc., the leading Enterprise Spend Management (ESM) solutions provider, will deploy Changepoint's PSA solution to its worldwide Ariba Solutions Delivery organization, which provides consulting and implementation services to Ariba customers.

Ariba Solutions Delivery recently expanded its services business model to also include strategy and sourcing solutions, increasing the complexity of the group's operation. The organization began its search for a PSA solution after it recognized the need for systems that supported the complex billing, resource management and demand forecasting aspects of these new services. Changepoint will automate and integrate Ariba Solutions Delivery's core business processes for accurate pipeline forecasts, streamlined billing and better planning around future resource requirements. Ariba also selected Changepoint's mobility clients in order to simplify time input for their consultants and to allow access to critical business data off-site.
