"After discovering the limitations of sniffer-type products, we turned to Vantage 8," said Ronnie Sun, Consultant, JPMorgan/Chase. "Compuware enables us to manage over 500 desktops utilizing up to 40 servers. Our ability to identify traffic topology quickly, pinpoint performance problems, check our WAN usage and proactively perform capacity planning provides leverage for our global financial traders while producing a great return on investment. In addition, the performance of many of our critical applications is now tested by Vantage 8 before going live into production." Enterprise-Wide End-User Experience Monitoring and Accelerated TroubleshootingVantage 8 features ClientVantage, a new end-user experience monitoring solution that provides synthetic as well as desktop response-time monitoring of an organization’s entire portfolio of critical applications. Using the proven capabilities of Compuware’s QARun testing software, ClientVantage monitors web-based and Windows applications. It also monitors nearly any application that can be accessed from a Windows desktop, including legacy and Citrix applications. "Recognizing the need among IT organizations for end-user monitoring solutions and WAN provisioning capabilities, Compuware has expanded its solution and introduced Vantage 8," said John Williams, Director, Vantage Product Management, Compuware Corporation. "Vantage 8 delivers a complete, integrated front-to-back solution for managing application performance and service levels, maximizing the ROI on costly IT resources and helping to eliminate application downtime by identifying the causes of poor performance."
