QAHiperstation 7.0 Extends Automated Testing for Internet Reliability of S/390 Applications

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — April 2, 2001 — Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq: CPWR) today announced the release of QAHiperstation 7.0. The new release provides support for the IBM WebSphere software platform for e-business, enabling organizations to leverage their S/390 investments for e-business deployments.

QAHiperstation, part of Compuware’s QACenter family of integrated testing products, provides a complete solution for focused testing of S/390 business logic. QAHiperstation 7.0 now includes native support for S/390 applications accessed from a web browser. This new release also reveals the TCP/IP and APPC messages that drive the S/390 business logic in multi-tier applications. APPC and HTTP messages can then be replayed, compared and used to complete thorough and focused S/390 testing, independent of the availability of front-end tiers.
