Compuware Announces Executive Management Changes
Tommi A. White Appointed Chief Operating Officer
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- October 29, 2001 -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq: CPWR) today announced changes in its executive management team. Compuware Chairman and CEO Peter Karmanos, Jr., appointed Tommi A. White to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, White will be responsible for directing the day-to-day business activities of Compuware's operating divisions. She will report to Compuware President Joseph A. Nathan. "We are very pleased to have Tommi White join our executive management team as Chief Operating Officer," said Nathan. "Her leadership and wealth of experience in managing information systems, business and technology alignment and change management is a welcome addition. Tommi will play an integral role in implementing Compuware's organizational structure and our strategy for ensuring Compuware's future growth and success." White joined Compuware in 2001 as Executive Vice President responsible for evaluating, improving and implementing Compuware's organizational structure. Before joining Compuware, White spent nearly eight years at Kelly Services, most recently as Executive Vice President, Chief Administration and Technology Officer. She has also spent part of her extensive career at Automatic Data Processing as Division Vice President for Client Services and Operations. Additionally, she was Chief Information Officer for Skandia Direct Operations Corporation. White also worked for American Express, the National Bank of Detroit and others. White earned a Bachelor's degree from Oakland University. She has also been named by Crain's Detroit Business to their Most Influential Women list (1998), by Oakland University as Business Executive of the Year (2000) and by Computerworld as a Top 100 Information Technology Leader.
