Compuware Supports IBM DB2 Universal Database for Development of Enterprise Applications

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- November 5, 2001 -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq: CPWR) today announced support for IBM DB2* Universal Database version 7.1. UNIFACE version 8.2.01, Compuware's powerful development environment, supports DB2 for development purposes on Windows NT and Windows 2000, and for deployment purposes on IBM AIX*. Support for IBM eServer* zSeries* (OS/390) is planned by the end of 2001. OptimalFlow 2.0, Compuware's workflow product, and OptimalBridge 2.0, Compuware's B2B messaging offering, also support DB2. These Compuware products leverage the increased performance and better backup utilities that DB2 offers to businesses.
