Compuware and Microsoft to Host Executive Forum Series on HIPAA Conversion
BizTalk Accelerator for HIPAA to be Demonstrated; Federal Medicaid Official and Other Speakers to Discuss Compliance Issues
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- November 29, 2001 -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq: CPWR) today announced it will host a series of executive forums in conjunction with Microsoft Corp. entitled "HIPAA: A Catalyst for Positive Change." Three-hour forums will be held in various cities throughout the United States beginning December 3 in Detroit. The forums are designed for executives in the healthcare or insurance-related industries who are affected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). The forums will feature speakers from Compuware and Microsoft and will explore the latest technological strategies to help organizations become HIPAA compliant.
