Compuware Corporation and Serena Software Announce Settlement of Lawsuit

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. and BURLINGAME, Calif. -- August 7, 2000 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) and SERENA Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SRNA) today announced settlement of a lawsuit pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
