Compuware Announces Two New Data Integration Products

File-AID/Express and File-AID/Express for MVS Accelerate Data Integration and Migration for E-commerce

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- May 15, 2000 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) announced today at the Dallas IDUG Conference its upcoming releases of File-AID/Express and File-AID/Express for MVS. The two new products will help businesses quickly integrate and migrate data for e-commerce and EAI efforts, minimizing the tasks of building high-speed, high-volume data interfaces and migrations.

Developers will be able to perform large-scale production data integration without writing custom programs. Complex conversions between legacy, relational and e-commerce data formats will be possible across an enterprise. These formats include DB2, VSAM, IMS, sequential, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 UDB, Sybase, XML and flat files.

The high-speed conversion engines of the Express products will help users quickly convert data for one-time migrations and for both temporary and permanent data interfaces between applications in production. Users have the flexibility to execute the engine on OS/390, UNIX or NT servers. Developers will also be able convert subsets of data required for testing the application or the interface.

Both products are available in beta version and demonstrations will be given at the Compuware booth (#711). The products will officially launch in July.
