Compuware Names Executive to Lead Professional Services

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- May 8, 2000 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) today announced the appointment of Thomas A. Vadnais to the position of Executive Vice President, Professional Services Division (PSD), a key role in which he will manage more that 11,000 technical consultants located in more than 75 Compuware offices worldwide. As Executive Vice President, Vadnais will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the division and for expanding the presence of Compuware Professional Services worldwide.

Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice President, Vadnais was Senior Vice President, Integration, PSD at Compuware. He has also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Data Processing Resources Corporation (DPRC), a leading national professional services company acquired by Compuware in August 1999. Prior to joining DPRC, Vadnais spent six years at Norrell Corporations, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of Tascor, Inc., the outsourcing division of Norrell Corporations. Prior to Norrell, Vadnais spent 23 years with IBM in a variety of sales, marketing and customer service roles.
