Compuware Announces Digital Test Solutions for Website Performance Testing

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- March 7, 2000 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) today announced the availability of Digital Test Solutions, a combination of Compuware products and services that provides e-commerce site owners with a scalable solution for understanding and evaluating website performance from a customer's perspective. Digital Test Solutions provide non-intrusive, customer-specified tests and reports of a website's performance based on user experience monitoring. On a 24x7 basis, Digital Test Solutions accurately replicate a customer's experience when connecting and communicating with the website.

E-commerce site owners receive daily, weekly and cumulative reports from Digital Test Solutions via e-mail. Digital Test Solutions are conducted from Compuware's E-Commerce Digital Development Center, using Compuware automated testing experts and Compuware's QACenter and EcoSYSTEMS product suites. There are two levels of Digital Test Solutions. Basic service provides an hourly performance check of one transaction through a website. The Plus service includes checks of up to five different transactions through the site and searches for any occurrence of more than 50 web site errors, including orphaned or broken links, missing page titles and missing attributes.
