Compuware Acquires Web Development Services Company
Acquisition of BlairLake, Inc. Adds Strategic E-Commerce Design Professionals to Compuware's Professional Services Division
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.-- February 14, 2000 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) today announced that on Thursday, February 10, 2000, it completed the acquisition of BlairLake, Inc. (BlairLake), a privately held provider of Internet consulting and web development services. An experienced team of BlairLake web developers, information architects and creative personnel will join Compuware as a result of the acquisition. "This acquisition establishes the first in a series of planned Compuware Digital Development Centers designed to support Compuware's e-commerce strategy. The first Compuware Digital Development Center will be headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, with others to be established soon. The centers will provide services ranging from web site strategy, conceptualization, creation and design to back-office architecture, legacy integration and load testing.
