Community Relations
Mission
Compuware Community Relations will enrich the lives of Compuware employees through personal giving opportunities and through ongoing community service projects. Using guided contributions, Compuware Community Relations will improve the quality of life in the communities where the company’s employees live and work.
Objectives
- Compuware will support non-profit organizations that serve and educate children, especially in the arena of technology; that address critical health issues, particularly cancer research and treatment; that sustain civic and cultural institutions; and that value diversity and inclusion.
- Compuware will support organizations through defined contributions for specific, measurable programs and will expect reporting on the value of those contributions.
- Compuware will encourage, support and guide the involvement—financial and otherwise—of its employees in reputable and efficient philanthropic organizations, particularly those in alignment with the company’s giving areas of focus.
Areas of Giving Focus
Compuware generally supports organizations that:
- Meet the social, physical and educational needs of children, with a particular emphasis on technology education.
- Address key health issues, especially cancer research and treatment.
- Sustain civic and cultural institutions.
- Promote women and people of color, as well as other aspects of diversity.
The company directs much of its giving to Detroit-based organizations that meet these, and select other, areas of focus. The company also works, as possible, to support the giving strategies of its key customers and partners.
