Field Technical Support
The Field Technical Support (FTS) organization offers a fast-paced, challenging work environment for technology professionals that excel in pre-sales consultancy. The FTS charter is to maximize the value of Compuware's software portfolio, ensuring that our customers understand the full value proposition of our solutions. FTS delivers world-class services that range from presentations and demonstrations to high-end proofs of value.
The FTS organization is comprised of a diverse mix of the most technical, sales-savvy, hard-working, customer-centric professionals in the IT industry. There is a tremendous amount of camaraderie within the teams around the globe, and colleagues are always willing to help out when a teammate needs assistance with a technical challenge, or just some advice on how to handle a certain situation. FTS very much embodies a "work hard, play hard" mentality that balances challenging work tasks with a lot of fun.
FTS consultants are expected to spend the majority of their time on-site with prospective Compuware customers assisting in the sale of our world-class solutions.
To ensure new FTS consultants are sufficiently equipped for success, Compuware provides an outstanding training program that is a mix of classroom, self-study and in-the-field mentoring. Once training is complete, consultants are expected to represent Compuware in the highest professional manner, through solution presentations, demonstrations and POVs, to ensure maximum customer satisfaction for all engagements.
FTS careers include Solution Consultant, Solution Architect and FTS Manager.
