Business and Systems AnalystsWe are looking for people who can help our clients improve their functional and technical business processes. Business and Systems Analysts support the needs of our customers as well as internal Compuware systems. Objectives will be to maintain top efficiency and continually drive increased productivity in your area of responsibility. As an analyst, you help create, define, test, support, maintain and implement changes and new development in various applications. Responsibilities include interviewing users to determine requirements, developing requirement specifications, building and executing test plans, analyzing problems and developing solutions, defining and testing system modifications and enhancements, and documenting complex topics or processes. These positions require a dynamic person who works well with people and who can translate business requirements into technical specifications. IT ArchitectureSystems Architects, Software Architects and Enterprise Architects are primary resources who develop the framework of large scale mission critical applications vital to our customers. Experience with large scale enterprise architecture/frameworks including software, hardware, system and security architecture; web services technologies and service-oriented architectures; developing three-tier web based applications; object oriented application & design; model driven architecture (MDA); and UML and RUP are core requirements. Application DevelopmentCompuware's Application Developers provide complete IT solutions for our customers using their knowledge and expertise in design, development, and deployment. Software Product DevelopmentCompuware's Software Product Development team applies their expertise to create tools that help technologists in the world's largest information technology department's work smarter and faster. Compuware tools cover the entire application life cycle from building and bulletproofing applications to keeping them in balance. We offer a powerful set of integrated solutions for enterprise IT including IT portfolio management, application development, quality assurance and application service management. As a result, Compuware's product development team works across a range of hardware platforms, databases and operating systems. Technical DocumentationCompuware's Information Developers are highly skilled in all phases of paper and online technical communications. Our customers represent market segments related to software, finance, insurance, investment and manufacturing. Projects range from initial planning and design to writing, editing and producing software, procedure and user manuals as well as training support materials. A variety of desktop publishing and on-line tools are utilized in producing award winning materials. IT Project ManagementCompuware's Project Management opportunities include externally supporting our Fortune 1000 customers and internally ensuring that deliverables are met in adherence to guidelines set by Compuware's Technical Project Office (TPO). Compuware's Project Managers are responsible for scheduling and managing concurrent or complex projects throughout all stages of the software development process including; plan, define, scope, resource leveling, testing and implementation. They manage customer expectations, evaluate and report software problems, respond to inquiries relating to installation functionality or capabilities, report bugs and follow the designated procedure for escalating problems. They keep the customer apprised of call resolution status at all times, updating the call tracking system to reflect the status of the call. Technical Sales SupportTechnical Sales Support partners with local sales teams nationally and internationally to strategize on accounts and identify potential solutions for our customers. Accounting/FinanceThe Accounting/Finance Division is comprised of several groups which support North American and international offices. The Corporate Accounting Department supports all branches with the following functional areas; payroll, expenses, accounts receivable/payable, North American transactions and International Accounting. North American Contract ManagementNorth American Contract Management is comprised of four departments; Contract Administration, Proposals, Maintenance Administration and DataCenter/Outsourcing. The Contract Administration department is chartered to provide Enterprise License calculations and contracts, and to provide assistance to the Enterprise Operations Organization in their quest to retain customers. The group also maintains a boilerplate proposal on all products.
